Description
THPC, established in 2005, is a joint venture between Japan’s Toshiba Corporation and the Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA). THPC researches, develops, designs, manufactures, and distributes hydropower equipment.
THPC was awarded a contract in March 2015 to supply four turbine and generator units to China’s Zhejiang Engineering Co. Ltd, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor for the Upper Yeywa Dam.
